Israel’s army has carried out intensive military operations in the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarem and the Tulkarem refugee camp for a sixth consecutive day, the Wafa news agency reports.

Israeli forces have stormed the Tulkarem camp over recent hours, raiding homes and destroying property, resulting in the “forced displacement of dozens of families”, according to Wafa.

The Israeli military has also forced Palestinians to evacuate their homes in the following Tulkarem neighbourhoods: al-Nadi, al-Shuhada, al-Ghanim, al-Matar, and Abu Al-Foul.

Israeli forces continue to besiege the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and the Israa Specialised Hospital, obstructing the work of medical crews, as well as subjecting them to searches and detention.

Wafa reports that the days-long raid has resulted in the destruction of basic facilities and infrastructure in the Tulkarem camp, knocking out power, water, and the internet, as well as causing shortages of food, medical supplies, drinking water and baby milk.
