The United Nations has warned that humanitarian needs in Gaza remain “immense” despite an increased flow of aid into the Palestinian territory following the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, AFP reports.

The UN’s World Health Organisation and World Food Programme said they had been able to increase deliveries of supplies into the Gaza Strip after the fragile ceasefire took effect on January 19.
