Pakistan voices concern over Israeli forces’ refusal to withdraw from south Lebanon

Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) has expressed concern over Israeli forces’ refusal to withdraw from southern Lebanon as agreed under a ceasefire agreement.

Addressing a press briefing in Islamabad, FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said: “Pakistan notes with concern the refusal by Israeli forces to withdraw from South of Lebanon on 26th January.

“We condemn the killing of 24 civilians including six women. It is worrying that Israel’s killing spree in southern Lebanon continues despite a ceasefire in place since November 27,” he added.
