The UN agency for Palestinian refugees has said at least seven children died of cold in Gaza since the ceasefire came into effect, amid a drop in temperatures and heavy rains, Al Jazeera reports.

“Winter and displacement have taken a heavy toll,” the agency said. “With very few homes left standing, displaced families continue to face these sub-human conditions.”
