Scenes published by Israeli media and activists on social media show family members of Israeli captives held in Gaza blocking Ayalon Road in central Israel’s Tel Aviv, Al Jazeera reports.

They demanded that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fully implement the exchange deal, end the conflict and not succumb to the pressures of far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to nix the deal in the second stage.

The protesters burned dining tables they used to block the road as an expression of their anger.
