The Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission, a Palestinian government body, has reported that the number of Israeli military checkpoints and gates in the occupied West Bank has risen to 898, Al Jazeera reports.

It said more than 173 iron gates were installed after October 7, 2023, including 17 since the beginning of this year.
