Gaza’s Government Media Office said, “Specialised government teams from ministries and government institutions have been prepared to follow up on the implementation of this plan on the ground, ensuring the safety of citizens and trying to provide them with basic needs,” Al Jazeera reports.

It added in a statement on Telegram that “the Palestinian police, municipalities and field follow-up teams will be at the forefront”.

“The police will work to maintain security and order in the various governorates, while the municipalities will undertake the tasks of reopening the streets, cleaning the affected areas, water extensions and rehabilitating the infrastructure,” the statement said.

“Other government teams from the various ministries will work closely to follow up on the field and ensure that all measures are implemented to ensure that life returns to normal as soon as possible.”
