Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has held a phone conversation with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, Al Jazeera reports, citing Qatar News Agency.

During the call, Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Doha’s commitment to supporting the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire deal and facilitating the captives for prisoners’ exchange, emphasising the importance of Israel and Hamas adhering to the agreement.

Lammy also expressed the UK’s appreciation for Qatar’s pivotal role in achieving the agreement, the report added.
