Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff has been involved in the talks and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in recent days, Reuters reports.

An official briefed on the deal said: “Witkoff was able to pressure Netanyahu into accepting the deal and moving quickly. It’s that conversation that shifted everything into motion.”
