The UN refugee agency for Palestinians has said that thousands are in need of safety and humanitarian aid as the besieged Gaza Strip is hit by severe storms.
“Heavy rains flooded shelters in Gaza’s Deir al-Balah doubling the misery for displaced people living tents,” UNRWA said in a post on X.
