The UN’s World Food Programme has said in an X post that it is only able to bring in roughly one-third of the food it needs to support hungry Palestinians in Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.

This comes as essential humanitarian entering Gaza dropped to its lowest levels in a year last month, despite experts warning that famine is likely imminent.

The WFP reiterated its many calls for a ceasefire in Gaza.
