A Palestinian youth was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Ya’bad, located southwest of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, Wafa reports.

Local sources reported that 18-year-old Zain Ali Tawfiq Atatreh was fatally shot by Israeli soldiers during a military raid on the town. The forces opened fire on residents as they stormed Ya’bad, leading to Atatreh’s murder.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its medical teams treated Atatreh for a serious chest wound caused by live ammunition before he succumbed to his injuries. The incident is part of ongoing tensions in the region, with Israeli occupation forces conducting frequent raids in Palestinian towns.
