Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned and denounced the “Israeli occupation government’s decision to expand settlements in the occupied Golan Heights”, its foreign ministry has said.

In a statement, the Saudi ministry said it also denounced Israel’s “continued sabotaging of Syria’s prospects for restoring its security and stability”.

“The Kingdom reiterates its call on the international community to denounce these Israeli violations, emphasising the importance of respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Kingdom reaffirms that the occupied Golanis Syrian, Arab land,“ the statement asserted.
