Hezbollah head Naim Qassem has said that the Lebanese armed group had lost its supply route through Syria following the toppling of President Bashar al-Assad by a sweeping rebel offensive, Reuters reports.

Qassem did not mention Assad by name in his televised address and said the group could not make a judgment on Syria’s new ruling power until the country stabilises.
