The Palestinian presidency said that the people of Palestine stood by the Syrian people and “respected their will and political choices, in a way that guarantees their security and stability and preserves their achievements”.

According to a statement on X, the presidency reaffirmed the “need to respect the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic”, wishing continued progress and prosperity for the Syrian people.

“The presidency stressed the importance of all political parties giving priority to the interests of the Syrian people,” it said.
