Civil defence workers in Gaza have retrieved the body of a Palestinian killed in an attack by an Israeli warplane on the beach west of Rafah City in the south of the enclave, Al Jazeera reports.

The body has been transferred to Nasser Hospital, the civil defence said in a brief message on social media.
