BAJAUR: A schoolteacher was killed allegedly by his son over a domestic issue in Baloli Yousafabad area of Khar tehsil here the other day.

Police said that teacher Malang Jan was injured when his son Shahid Khan fired at him after exchange of harsh words. He received two bullets.

The injured teacher was taken to district headquarters hospital Khar for treatment but he could not survive.

After receiving information of the firing incident, local leaders and workers of Awami National Party rushed to the hospital to arrange blood and other facilities for the teacher. Malang Jan was an active supporter of ANP. He was laid to rest in his village.

ANP provincial president Aimal Wali Khan and general secretary Sardar Hussin Babak expressed their deep sorrows over the murder of Malang Jan.
