Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has claimed there was a rumour that PTI leaders Pervez Khattak and Asad Qaiser had contacted the establishment for a “green signal” regarding their political future.

“When the green signal was received, a press conference was held,” the security czar told journalist Shahzad Iqbal on a Geo news programme, referring to Khattak’s press conference on Thursday.

However, he added that there were no witnesses to the alleged talks held with the establishment.
