SUKKUR: A large number of men, women and children, workers of nationalist parties and social organisations took out a big procession here on Saturday demanding recovery of an expecting mother and her two-year-old daughter who were abducted at gunpoint in Kandhkot 11 days ago.
The procession staged on the call of Human Right Commission of Pakistan and Khoso clan concluded at local press club where the victims’ mother Rasheeda Khatoon, her grandfather Yaqoub Khoso and others told media persons that district police had failed to recover the victims.
They appealed to the IGP to recover the mother and her daughter immediately and put the culprits behind bars.
They demanded the government protect life and property of people at all costs.
