TOBA TEK SINGH: A man allegedly raped a woman with the help of his accomplices at Gojra’s Chak 95-JB on Thursday.
A resident of Mohallah Ahmad Bakhshwala (Jhang) claimed in her FIR registered by the Gojra Saddar police that a gypsy man called her up and introduced himself as Muhammad Ramzan Oadh and he offered her gold coins at meagre price.
The woman said she reached Chak 95-JB to purchase the coins but the suspect took her towards fields where his two accomplices also reached.
They forcibly took her to field and Ramzan raped her at gunpoint while his accomplices guarded outside.
Several incidents of swindling by fake antique coin dealers have taken place at Gojra in the last few years and police have registered cases against unidentified people.
