Hearing in bail pleas of five accused in Noor case adjourned

ISLAMABAD: A lower court on Friday adjourned the hearing in bail petitions of five employees of Therapyworks in Noor Mukadam murder case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Farakh Farid Baloch adjourned the hearing in the case without further proceeding due to absence of lawyers.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till Aug 23.

The court had remanded the accused, including Therapyworks owner Dr Tahir Zahoor, to day-long physical custody in connection with the case.

The suspects, arrested by police the previous night, were accused of “concealing evidence” related to the murder of Noor — daughter of former diplomat Shaukat Mukadam — who was found dead at a residence in Islamabad’s upscale Sector F-7/4 on July 20.
