TAXILA: The Attock Saddar police arrested a man for attempting to assault a five-year-old girl in Marri village on Monday.
On the complaint of the victim’s father, who is an employee of the tehsil municipal administration, the police got a medical examination conducted on the girl which confirmed the allegation. The police then registered a case against the suspect and put him behind bars.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian was hit and killed by a speeding trailer on GT Road in the limits of Taxila police. According to the police, the deceased has not been identified.
