TAXILA: Bodies of two teenage sisters were found hanging from a ceiling fan in their house in Dhoke Dakhal in district Attock on Monday.

Police while quoting father of the victims said he and his wife were working in a nearby field.

When returned they found Sehrish Bibi, 17 and Amna Bibi 19 hanging from the ceiling fan. 

He claimed that both had committed suicide.

Uncle of the victims told police that both the sisters were in distress due to poverty which might have driven them to take such an extreme step.

Bodies of both the girls were handed over to their family after autopsy at Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Pindigheb. Bassal police have registered a case and started further investigation.
