SUKKUR: A strong police contingent bulldozed the autaq (guest room) of an influential figure, Mukshi Mohammadani, to force him to hand over some suspects wanted in an attack, with heavy weapons and rockets, on the house of Pir Bakhsh Bhangwar, president of Kandhkot Press Club, in Kandhkot a few days ago.
A police party riding armoured personnel carriers raided the house in Khair Shah locality and bulldozed it after finding no suspects or other occupants present inside.
Kandhkot-Kashmore SSP Amjad Shaikh told reporters that the operation would continue until the suspects’ surrender.
