KARACHI: Lotte Chemical Pakistan on Thursday posted 1QCY20 profit after tax (PAT) at Rs58 million, translating into earnings per share at Rs0.04.
The earnings slumped 95pc from Rs1.29 billion and EPS at Rs0.85 during corresponding quarter of the previous year. Net sales of the company decreased 27pc to Rs11.7bn for the latest quarter, from Rs16.1bn.
KE elects Edrees new chairman
K-Electric board of directors on Thursday elected Riyadh S. A. A. Edrees as the new chairperson, the company said in a press release.
Edrees has 25 years of experience in construction, finance, oil and gas, telecommunication and academic sectors. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering.
