ISLAMABAD: A man was killed and his friend injured over a minor dispute.

According to the police, some animals belonging to Waqas entered the property of a man residing in I-14/3 and damaged the lawn.

The house owner raised the issue with Waqas which resulted in a brawl. After a few hours, Waqas was going to his uncle’s house with his friend when they were stopped by a group of armed men at Haji Camp Chowk.

The armed men opened fire on both the men and escaped.

The victims were shifted to the hospital where Waqas was pronounced dead and his friend, Ali Haider, remained in critical condition.

The police registered a case against the gunmen on the complaint of Waqas’ brother who alleged that the killers attacked the two men at the behest of the resident of I-14/3.
