LAHORE: A dozen horses barring last-minute withdrawals are set to battle it out for honours in the Christmas Cup that takes place in the winter meeting at the Racecourse on Thursday.
The Christmas Cup, which is an annual feature, is a term race for two-year-old thoroughbred and half-bred horses and will go over 1,200 metres. It is the fourth race in day’s racing order.
As many as 105 horses have entered the day’s races and will display their acumen in an eight-race card that has been dished out for the day.
The first race starts at 12.30pm.
