HARIPUR: A teenage boy was killed while his cousin injured critically when their bike collided head-on with a car near Kangra on Hattar Road, police said on Saturday.

City police said the accident occurred because the bike was over-speeding. Yasir Khan, 15, a resident of Khalabat Township, was killed on the spot while his cousin, Wajid, was injured. The injured was shifted to DHQ hospital, Haripur.

According to police and eyewitnesses, the car driver escaped from the scene. Police registered a case against the car driver.
