KARACHI: Mayor Waseem Akhtar has announced holiday in all departments and affiliated institutions of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) on Monday, on account of the urs of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi.
The annual urs of the saint is celebrated on Zilhaj 22, as per Islamic calendar every year.
According to a notification issued by the office of Karachi mayor, the holiday is in accordance to resolution number 594, dated 27-01-2005 passed by the City Council Karachi.
