LAHORE: The Punjab Cup Women Archery Championships started here on Friday.
Contestants from districts namely Lahore, Bahawalpur, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Khanewal and Jhang are taking part in the two-day event.
Sara Dilshad of Lahore, Ishrat (Jhang) and Hina (Bahawalpur) showed excellent performance in 70m competitions while Lahore’s Rimsha, Bahawalpur’s Farah Abbasi, Noorul Huda of Multan and Jhang’s Saadia also remained outstanding.
Earlier, secretary of Sports Board Punjab Ayub Chaudhry inaugurated the championship.
