LAHORE: A 26-member Pakistan rugby squad will leave for Almaty, Kaza­khstan on Monday to participate in the four-nation Div-III Asian Rugby Champ­ionship set to be held from May 16.

Kyrghyzstan and Mongolia are the two other countries participating in the event besides Pakistan and the host country.

Kashif Khawaja (captain.), Nasir Mehmood, Shahid Mehmood, Mohammad Haroon, Musadiq Altaf, Irfan Shahzad, Sharfat Ali, Muhmmad Waqas, Israr Ahmed, Anjum Shahzad, Zahid Iqbal, Daud Gill, Faisal Aslam, Mohammad Waqas, Malik Arif Hussain, Mohammad Talha, Hamad Safdar, Ahmer Ali, Syed Mohammad Moiz Ali, Syed Mohammad Daud Ali, Adnan Saeed, Saad Arif, Mohammad Ali Khan, Mohammad Shoaib Akbar, Ahmed Wasim Akram and Shahbaz Khan.
