Man run over by train

TAXILA: A man died after being hit by a train while a youth received burn injuries in a gas-leak fire in Wah on Sunday.

Mohammad Muneer was crossing the railway track near the Wah railway station when the Karachi-bound passenger train ran him over.

In the second incident, Raja Imtiaz Rehmat, 19, who lives in a boy hostel in Saadat Colony, received burn injuries after his room caught fire due to a gas leakage.

The injured was taken to the THQ hospital Taxila from where he was shifted to Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi.
