Pakistanis celebrate 70th anniversary of Independence Day

Pakistan on Monday celebrated the 70th anniversary of independence from British rule and partition from India.

While airshows in Islamabad and Karachi eclipsed celebrations in the two cities, residents celebrated and rallied across the country.
