NOWSHERA: Awami National Party central general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain said on Saturday the provincial government of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf is suffering from ANP phobia as it is persistently criticising the development works of his party.

Addressing a public gathering at Dag Baisaud here, he claimed the PTI was inaugurating the projects initiated by the ANP government. He said ANP position on PanamaLeaks case was very clear that Supreme Court should decide the fate of the prime minister in view of the findings of the JIT. He said his party had made clear its stand on the issue in the meeting of the opposition parties.

He insisted that after failing to deliver in its four years at the helm, the PTI lawmakers had now started contacting the people, which he said was a futile exercise.

Mr Iftikhar refuted the claims of PTI and PML-N leader Amir Muqam that they had established Dir and Jalozai grid stations and said the ANP had purchased land for the purpose.

He claimed that people were joining the ANP on daily basis because they had become fed up with the so-called slogan of change trumpeted by the PTI.

Mr Iftikhar also rejected the claim of PTI that it had turned around the education and health sectors, saying health cards were being distributed on political affiliations and matriculation result had exposed the poor performance of government schools.

He advised Imran Khan to what he said come out of the world of Facebook and Twitter and focus attention on improving Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The ANP leader claimed that enforcement of NFC award, payment of hydel profit and granting of provincial autonomy under the 18 amendments were the big achievements of ANP. He further claimed that the ANP would sweep the 2018 elections in KP.
