SHEIKHUPURA: Some unidentified suspects allegedly resorted to aerial firing here on Saturday evening at stadium shopping centre, causing panic among shopkeepers and shoppers.
Shopping centre union president Shahid Aslam Jalandhary condemn the ‘hooliganism’ and said that “aerial firing has somehow become a routine matter.”
He said some suspects who seemed to be college students, had resorted to aerial firing earlier at 1pm.
Mr Jalandhary demanded that DPO Sarfraz Virk look into the matter and arrange a police patrol here.
ACCIDENT: A man was killed in a road accident here on Saturday.
Ali Raza was crossing Sharaqpur Road when a speeding car ran over and killed him. The car driver managed his escape.
Bikhi police are investigating the matter.
