GWADAR: A man was gunned down in Punjgur town and a bullet-riddled body was found in Pedark area of Kech district on Sunday, police said.

Rehmat Ali was going home in Khudabadan area of Punjgur when gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire. He suffered multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot.

Police registered a case against unknown assailants and started investigation.

The motive for the murder could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, police found a bullet-riddled body in Pedark area of Kech district and shifted it to the Turbat district hospital.

The body of the man could not be identified so far.
