ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will address the nation on Tuesday (August 12).

The prime minister will address the nation at 8:00 PM.

According to Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Irfan Siddiqui, the prime minister in his address will take the nation into confidence about the government's performance as well as the current political situation in the country.

He is expected speak in large part about the standoff between the government and protestors led by PTI chief Imran Khan and PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
