DERA GHAZI KHAN, May 1: A three-day drama festival was held for the first time in Divisional Public School and College from April 28 to 30.
Courtesy to the special interest of the newly-appointed principal, a large number of students and their parents attended the festival. District Coordination Officer Saqib Saleem was the chief guest.
The plays were staged in both Urdu and English languages. The first prize went to ‘Divine Promise’ written and directed by lecturer Mehboob Ahmed and coordinated by Tauqeer Aftab. The theme of the play was on the prevailing chaos in Muslim society. — Correspondent
