PESHAWAR, April 29: A two-day IT exhibition, entitled ‘Brain Storm’, was inaugurated by NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah on Tuesday, and attracted a large number of students. About 50 stalls, established by Peshawar and Islamabad- based ISPs, hardware and software institutes, offered computers and accessories on discounted rates to visitors.

They also provided information regarding the booming information technology sector.

The event has been organized by a private college in collaboration with the science society of Peshawar university.

“The event has provided visitors with score of options to purchase accessories, get internet connections and gain information regarding various diploma and degree courses offered by these institutions”, one of the organizers said.

An interesting item was a competition among the institutes. A quiz competition among the students was also held.
