KARACHI, Jan 20 Karachi Kickers gave Hyderi Baloch a sound 6-1 thrashing and Karachi United and Mauripur Baloch played a goalless draw as the last matches in round 15 of the KASB Premier League Football (PLF) were played at the CDGK Stadium on Monday.

Right-winger Fareed Alam (17th and 79th mins) and left-winger Irfan Junejo (50th and 75th mins) scored two goals each while frontrunner Abdullah Amin (45th min) and midfielder Faisal Madani (69th min) added one each to the winners' tally.

Hyderi Baloch's lone goal was scored by striker Ali Mohammad when he converted a penalty kick in the 78th minute.

The second match saw Mauripur Baloch and Karachi United sharing a point each as no one was able to score in the entire 90-minute duration.

At the conclusion of 120 matches, Sharafi Mohammadan are at the top with 36 points, Nazimabad FC have 32, Karachi Kickers and Shahzad Mohammadan both have 29, Ghani XI 27, Hyderi Baloch and Maymar Sports 25 each, Mauripur Baloch 24, Baloch Mujahid 19, Aurora FC and Usmanabad Union 18 each, Karachi United 16, Hazara Mohammadan and Gharib Nawaz 11 each, Lal Bakhsh Memorial eight and Gulshan FC are last with seven points. The top eight teams have qualified for the playoffs.

The 15 rounds saw the teams scoring as many as 422 goals. The most were scored by Sharafi Mohammadan (47).

Their striker Abdul Haleem is also the top scorer with 24 goals that includes one single and two double hat-tricks.

Overall there were two double and nine single hat-tricks registered. The referees awarded 31 penalty kicks of which 24 were converted. There were three own goals. As many as 241 players were awarded the yellow card, 52 got double yellow cards and seven were shown the red card.

The playoffs kick off from February 5.
