KARACHI: Husband kills wife

KARACHI, April 24: A man killed his wife in his home in Mubina Town on Thursday.

Police said Mohammad Haji severly beat up his wife Bashira, 32, with a club at Ayub goth. Bashira suffered injuries to her head and died later on.

Police quoting Haji, who was taken into custody, said he lost temper when he learnt that his wife had not prepared meals for him. The body was shifted to JPMC.

ACCIDENT: A young man died in a road accident in Pirabad on Thursday.

Noman, 35, was crossing Shahrah-i-Orangi when an unknown minibus knocked him down.

The victim died on the spot, and his body was shifted to Abbasi Hospital. However, family members took away the body without an autopsy.
