KARACHI: Airlines to resume flights

KARACHI, Dec 7: Cathay Pacific Airways on Friday announced that it would resume flights to Pakistan on Jan 9, 2002.

Cathay had suspended its service on Sept 28 due to the the impact of global economy on the airline industry.

According to Cathay, as before, all flights on the three-times-a-week return service from Hong Kong to Karachi will be routed through Bangkok.

The first Cathay Pacific flight will arrive in Pakistan at about 11.15pm on Jan 9 and will depart on schedule for Hong Kong on Jan 10.

Swissair: The Swissair will be operating its 4th weekly flight from Karachi to Zurich (via Dubai) with effect from Dec 14. — APP
