ABBOTTABAD: Attackers arrested

ABBOTTABAD, April 19: Abbottabad police have arrested three persons, including a college student, for allegedly making an attempt on the life of Principal Mehboob Shah on Friday.

The police said the principal of the Abbottabad Public School & College was attacked on Thursday while he was having meal at his official residence on the college premises.

The attackers had fired shots on his residence from which he escaped unhurt. The other day, the principal was given a buzz from a PCO. The police traced three accused, including Waqas Jalil, who is second year student of the college and was expelled by the principal for cheating.

Two other accused were identified as Shahid Sultan and Faraz Gul Pasha, relative of Waqas.
