SHIKARPUR, Dec 6: Thousands of rupees were fraudulently drawn through bogus signatures against pay difference bills while illegally granting selection grade to about 120 primary teachers in Shikarpur sub-division during the last five years.

This was disclosed by the teachers’ leaders when their demands were not accepted by the concerned SDEO, Shikarpur.

The executive district officer education Shikarpur, Allahdad Memon, while taking serious notice of the mater, has cancelled the selection grade orders made since 1997.

He has sought a detailed report from the district education officer elementary Begum Noorjehan Mangi so that further action could be taken against those responsible.

She recommended cancellation of previous list and suggested the EDO for preparing a fresh list of selection grade.

When contacted, the DEO elementary disclosed that as per selection orders from IBA, 196 male and female primary school teachers had been posted at various schools on the contract basis.

STRANGULATED: Ten persons strangulated to death their relative Haji Miran of village Nao Goth near Amrot Sharif on an old enmity on Thursday.

Garhi Yasin police have registered the case against the accused identified as Miral, Baboo, Ali Hassan Shar and seven others.
