Man shot dead By Our Correspondent

HARIPUR, Dec 6: A young boy was shot dead and his father sustained bullet injuries in firing by the rival party in village Kanikot, some 32 km from here on Thursday evening.

According to the FIR lodged by the injured person, Khawaja Mohammad, with the Khalabat Township police station, Fareed, Saeed and their accomplices opened indiscriminate firing on him and his son Ismail when they were trying to resolve an altercation between the women of both the families at a common well of the village.
