EPB chief to visit Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, April 15: Pakistan’s Export Promotion Bureau chairman Tariq Ikram is due to arrive here on Friday on a two-day official visit to discuss with Kuwaiti officials mutual trade relations and a possible share in the rebuilding of Iraq.

Source told Dawn that additional secretary foreign affairs Tariq Usman Haider will accompany the EPB chairman who will hold talks with Kuwait’s commerce minister, Saleh Khurshed.

The Pakistani delegation is also expected to meet Iraq’s proposed new interim government head, retired US general Jay Garner.

Pakistani officials would also discuss with Kuwaiti and Pakistani businessmen on a possible joint venture projects in Iraq.
