GUJRANWALA, Dec 19 The divisional commissioner has transferred city revenue deputy district officer (DDOR) Ghulam Dastgir Khan to Lahore after suspending him from service allegedly owing to misconduct and insubordination here on Saturday.

District Coordination Officer Shahid Niaz had convened a meeting of revenue officers to review the security arrangements in connection with Muharram. He expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of the city DDOR and directed him to improve his performance.

But, Khan allegedly had an argument with his superior who considered it misconduct and insubordination and informed the commissioner, recommending his suspension from service.
