GILGIT, April 12: Special persons staged an anti-war demonstration on Thursday.

The participants of the demonstration marched from Hospital Road to the Rest House Chowk. They chanted slogans against the war in Iraq and said it was increasing the number of disabled in the world.

They demanded that the world community should stop the war forthwith. They carried placards and banners inscribed with slogans condemning the war.—Correspondent
