CHITRAL, April 12: Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, a member of the National Assembly, has criticized the district Nazim for ignoring the MNAs and MPAs and asking the Executive District Officers (EDOs) not to cooperate with and carry out their orders.

Addressing a news conference here on Friday he said that the district Nazim was transgressing his powers to conceal corruption.

He said that the nomination of the members of District Police Safety Commission without advertising it in the press was not acceptable.

He has demanded of the governor to cancel the nominations and take all district heads into confidence to form a new body.

He also demanded of the government to forthwith cancel the transfer orders of teachers, which have caused panic among the teachers.

Replying to a question, Maulana Chitrali said that a privilege motion would be tabled in the National Assembly regarding the district Nazim’s directives to the EDOs for ignoring the orders of the members of the assemblies.
