MANAWAN Regular training sessions were resumed on Wednesday, at the Manawan Police Training centre, which remained under an eight-hour terrorist siege on March 30.

While majority of the trainees have returned to the centre, some still remain missing, DawnNews reported.

Several trainees were injured in the attack and are still undergoing treatment at hospitals.

The cadets who have returned to the academy have reportedly shown high spirits and are currently assisting with the reconstruction of building that came under attack.

According to the DawnNews report, new check-posts have been set up around the centre and there has been a boost in the arms and ammunition supply of the security officials guarding it.

Meanwhile, investigators have not been able to make any major breakthroughs in the terror attack on the academy.
